The Press
One photography book a year. An occasional print. Both made by hand, both sold in small numbers, both designed to last longer than the season that produced them.

Photographs and essays from a year between harbors.
The first book from the Press is a hardcover of photographs made across twelve months at sea and on foot. It begins in Vermont at the edge of winter, carries through the Mediterranean in summer, and ends in a harbor in northern Japan in the first hour of a morning that did not feel like any other morning. A short essay sits between each run of pictures. They are not captions. They are notes, mostly.
Shipped from Vermont in a cotton wrap. Allow three weeks.

We write about what we are making when there is something worth writing about. Never a blog. Usually a paragraph.
